 The River City Clippers in 1991

 

For the 1991 convention, four of the Barbertones members formed a new Quartet called A Cut Above which, at it's first outing at the 1991 convention, won the 3rd place Bronze medal in the Quartet competition.

The Clippers next major outing was the 1993 Convention in Perth in which they finished in fourth position winning the small chorus trophy but missing the bronze medal by 2 points.

The Clippers quartets competing were Seventh Heaven and City Slickers who finished 7th out of 36 entrants (enabling them to compete in the top-ten final).
