Venue: An ANZAC Memorial Service is held annually in the Masonic Centre at 311 Ann St. BRISBANE, and is again scheduled for the evening of Saturday, April 25th, this year. The Clippers performances at the previous ceremonies were widely acclaimed. They have been invited again, to participate in this year's ceremony.
The ceremony is held in the Grand Hall of the Masonic Memorial Centre at 311 Ann St, BRISBANE, and has seating capacity for approximately 600 visitors. The ceremony is open to the public and family and friends of the Clippers are warmly invited.
The ceremony is hosted by AIF Memorial Lodge in conjunction with Grand Lodge who will be headed up by the current Qld. Grand Master, MW Bro Dr. Gary Bacon. The Qld. Governor, His Excellency, The Honourable Paul De Jersey AC, together with other distinguished guests have been invited.
The ceremony broadly involves the ceremonial entry of the AIF Memorial Lodge and Grand Lodge. There will be a number of key addresses, and musical items by soloist, Mss. Michelle Huggins, the Clippers and the Masonic/Clippers assembly. The Main ceremony starts at 7:00 PM and runs for about 2 hours. As this year's ceremony marks the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli Landing, a large public attendance is expected so it is suggested that visitors should be seated by 0640.
The Clippers have been invited to feature in one A cappella number, “Po Kare Kare Ana”. They will also assist the Masonic Choir, (whose numbers are depleting), in a number of war-time medley songs and other appropriate hymns. Song Sheets will be provided for these items and will be accompanied by the Grand Organist.
A 12 page program is being produced and the Clippers Website Photo will be included, together with a short brief.
A combined rehearsal is planned for Wednesday night, 22nd April. All participating Clippers who can make it, are asked to be at the Anne St. Masonic Centre by 6:30 PM.
AIF Memorial Lodge thanks the Clippers for participating again and look forward to seeing them and their families on ANZAC night.

    Thanks & regards
